Power Play Rinks offers a variety of clinics to ensure that your hockey player can train all aspects of their game with our coaching staff!
Skating & skills serves as your foundation to the game and we have plenty of clinic for that!
Whether you are looking to train consistently through the year or freshen up your skills, we have all the clinics you need!
Give your Mite the edge with these unique Mite Specific Power Skating Clinics. These three sessions are designed and run by Coach Ben Umstead and his over 10 years of Hockey Director experience.
Coach Ben will challenge players and improve skating technique in an environment with only Mite Players.
All sessions are 1 hour long. The session consists of 40 minutes of intense skating drills and explanation followed by cross ice games for the kids to have fun.
WHO: These sessions are open to ALL Mite birth years (2017-2020).
COST: $25 per session or $45 for both the Jan & Feb

Session 3 – February 16th – 9am Focus is backward skating, balance, and speed.
Schools out, time for a One-day skills clinics. These are great for players to focus on skill development in mid-season.
Clinics work on a variety of skills & 15 mins of fun & games. Open to experienced 2017-to-2011’s: $30 per class

Skate with the Huntsmen Day Camp – Full and Half Day Hockey Camp’s
Schools off, come for a day camp with the Huntsmen. Great for players to focus on the game on a day off from school.
Skate once as a group & with the Huntsmen at an actual practice! Ice starts at 8:45am with pick up at 4pm; except on 11/4’s half day.
Open to very experienced 2016-to-2010’s – Jersey & Lunch included on full days:
3/20 – 8:45am-4pm pick up – $50 – on 3/20 practice with P team, Watch EHL Game vs Little Flyers Jr. team & skate with our Huntsmen EHL team after in public skating.
Clinic focus is on scoring, with stick handling, dekes, skating thru traffic, proper techniques on giving & receiving a pass, shooting to score, how to shoot hard but also with accuracy.
Open to birth years 2017-2010 (3-Classes) – 3/9 7:15p-8:15p, 3/23, 3/30 all 7pm-8pm: Price $120 (Early bird $90 by 2/15)
Power Skating takes a more intricate approach to edge control, speed and generating power for your upcoming tryouts and evaluations.
These clinics are open to experienced hockey players. Open to birth years 2009-2016.

Semi-Private Lessons create an environment with less distractions and more individual attention.
These sessions include 50 minutes of weekly semi-private lessons. There will be a Max. of 8 players per coach. Lessons will work on a variety of skills and can be requested, minimum 2-years hockey experience.
