The Lab – Our Philosophy

The longevity of an athlete’s career is of the utmost importance to our Strength Coaches. They will focus on increasing a player’s agility, balance, coordination, cardiovascular endurance, explosiveness, mobility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, power, reaction time, speed, and stability. We believe all athletes do not fall into the same category. Our Strength Coaches will customize every athlete’s S4 program by incorporating a movement screening to hone in on mobility and stability exercises that create better movement patterns, therefore, reducing potential injuries by using our scientifically designed strength and conditioning program. Every athlete should expect to improve their athletic performance by utilizing our S4 program or a Team-based Strength & Conditioning program. We will use the most up-to-date scientific research in the field to develop our athletes. Our Strength Coaches are passionate about helping athletes succeed by focusing on the science behind the movements.

S4 Semi-Private Strength Coaching

Speed, Stability, Stamina, and Strength

In our staple program, you’re able to receive personalized coaching in smaller, more focused groups of 6 or fewer athletes. Our workouts will be based on movements applicable to your sport to develop the athleticism you need to succeed. Take the next step in your athletic career by expanding your exercise base and raising your training to the next level!

Membership Includes:

One 45-minute workout per week

Periodic Recovery workouts centered on joint and muscle health as well as mobility

Periodic Performance Testing to assess improvements

Seize the opportunity to give yourself more time in the gym! S4 Plus is an extension of our S4 program that delivers twice as many workouts each month.

With S4 Plus, athletes will be able to come into The Lab twice a week, allowing us to expand our exercise base and further our exercise progressions.

Pre-Eval Off-Ice Training Clinic

Don’t let the summer fun take you away from your dedication to hockey! Before you know it, we’ll be staring down at the start of the next season. The off-season is the best time to build up your strength, improve your balance and coordination, and boost that speed before the new season approaches. Workouts include full-body movements, bodyweight training, competitive speed, and agility work, and age-appropriate higher-level movements and lifts. It’s time to work and put the best version of yourself on the ice for all to see!

High Performance HIIT

HIIT (high-intensity interval training) has taken the fitness industry by storm in the last few years. HIIT combines short bouts of intense exercise or activity followed by short periods of rest or low-intensity movements.

This 6-week class will promise to have you sweating and working hard as we combine full-body exercises, bodyweight exercises, and plyometric exercises to take your fitness to the next level!
