Exton Bulls will add Junior team in 2016-2017!
The Exton Bulls are excited to announce their acceptance into the North American 3 Atlantic Hockey League (NA3AHL) for the 2016-2017 season. The NA3AHL is under the direction of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), the only Tier II Junior League in the Country. The NA3AHL is one of the 11 sponsored USA Hockey Junior Leagues. The addition of this Junior Program will allow the Bulls to provide a stepping stone for local players to advance to the next level of their development. Exton Jr. Bulls will allow players to play in a program that will develop them on and off the ice while providing highly competitive games and exposure without leaving home. The program will skate out of Power Play Rinks in Exton and the Hill School in Pottstown, PA. The Jr. Bulls will target players that are looking for an opportunity to move to College and higher end Junior programs. “We are pleased with the opportunity and look forward to a long and positive relationship with the NA3HL.” - Jeff Grable owner of the Exton Bulls. Grable is excited to see a Junior program back in the building after selling a Junior team 10 years ago. “Junior Hockey is for players that are committed to taking their game to the next level and I believe we have a ton of players with potential in our area. I’m proud the Bulls will have a program to help players achieve their long-term hockey goals.” – Ben Umstead, Director Bulls Hockey. Interviews for head coaching candidates have already begun and tryout dates have been posted on the website www.bullshockey.org. The team will begin practices on August 29th and start their league play on September 9th. We look forward to seeing the team on the ice. GO BULLS!
